Bob Craven is the Yacht Broker of record for BCYS.  He has been sailing for more than 55 years, has been a boat builder for about 50 years, and has had a lifelong interest in both power and sailing boats.  Most of Bob's working career was spent in the Semiconductor business using the technical knowledge gained from his Ph. D. in physics and sales and management knowledge gained through corporate training by MEMC Electronic Materials Corp.  After leaving MEMC Bob was involved in a few technical start-ups, one of which landed him in Santa Barbara, CA. [more]

      Patrick Keilen is a licensed 100 ton captain with a sailing endorsement.  Patrick has worked as crew on diverse boats from Mississippi Tow Boats, Charter Sailing Boats, Mr. Clean Polution Control Boats, WWII Navy Historic boats and many sailing yachts.  He currently owns a Gary Mull 45 sailing cruiser and lives aboard in Ventura harbor.  Patrick has been highly praised for his ability to keep the boat going no matter what the ugly weather that prevails and is currently working as an Engineer for Mr. Clean III in Long Beach Harbor when he is not selling yachts for BCYS.[more]

          Jeff Adams has owned and sailed a variety of sailboats in Santa Barbara and is currently the owner of a C&C 110. A very nice 36ft racer/cruiser that looks sharp on the race course and at the dock.  A member of  Santa Barbara Yacht Club and The Sailing Club and a licensed yacht salesman he has helped  and advised  many buyers and sellers over the last few years.        Darrel Nugent has been sailing for about 15 years and currently is working as a rigger in Santa Barbara Harbor.  For the last few years Darrel has been delivering yachts with trips to the Marqueasas, Seattle, La Paz, San Diego, San Francisco and several ports in between.  Darrel brings a passion for sailing on blue water and around the bouys.[more]

      Brian Mears had lived abord in Santa Barbara for over 20 years and knows both the harbor and the yachts very well.  He is currently taking a sabatical from actively participating in the daily life on the ocean and yacht sales while improving his Artistic life engraving historic guns and other collectable items in Northern California.   Brian is currently building a "BarTender" for use on the inlets of Northern California and Oregon, but hopes to cruise the Puget Sound area in the near future.[more]
